Classes suspended today at Muschette High School

Classes have been suspended for today (May 18) at the Muschettte High School in Wakefield, Trelawny, due to flooding in the community from overnight rains.

Principal at Muschette High, Leighton Johnson, told Irie Fm News, that significant flooding has been reported in sections of the community, which has, led to vehicles being covered with water.

He is advising students and teachers to remain at home today, due to the inclement weather.

 

In the meantime, Mr. Johnson says, students sitting external examinations, should go to the nearest centre.
