Reggae Boyz and Cavalier midfielder Chevone ‘Messi’ Marsh has put pen to paper and signed with Finnish club KPV Kokkola on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Marsh is set to make his debut for the Finnish Second Division club on Thursday.

They are currently 4th on the table with 26 points – the same as third place AC Oulu who have played an extra game.

TPS Turku leads the way with 28 points with JJK Jyväskylä second on 27.

KPV Kokkola can move up the standings with victory over 9th place FC KTP on Sunday.

Marsh meanwhile was one of six local-based players included in the Reggae Boyz’s final 23-man squad named to take part in the Copa America Centenario which took place in the United States in June.

He previously was in the national under 20 training squad for the 2013 FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Turkey and also represented Jamaica at the 2015 CONCACAF under 20 Championship in Mexico where he scored the team’s lone goal at the tournament.
