Despite an order for them to return to work, educators at Central High in Clarendon are vowing to remain off the job.
The teachers have stayed away from the classroom for the last three days calling for the resignation of the Board Chairman over what they claim to be disagreements with how the schools is being run.
A meeting was held this afternoon between representatives of the Ministry of Education and the educators to find a solution to the problem.
One teacher stated that they will keep up their protest until their demand is met.
The teachers say they are tired of the stance taken by the Education Ministry.
This morning the teachers abandoned the classrooms and took their protest to the streets all clad in black.
